Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 28, 2026. Here's what data we collect, why, and how you can control it.
1. Who Handles Your Data
Your data is handled by the person behind the Chansova project, reachable at contact@chansova.com. See the Terms of Service page for details about who publishes the service.
2. Data We Collect
- Phone number, used to sign in with an SMS code
- If you sign in with Google: the name, email address and profile photo of your Google account
- What you provide to create a song: texts, first names, lyrics, style choices, and the audio recordings you upload
- Your songs, Shorts, likes, reports, and play and share statistics
- History of your orders, Notes balance, promo codes used and payments (amount, status)
- Influencer code linked to your account, if any
- Technical data for security and abuse prevention: IP address, a device identifier generated by the site, error logs, and reCAPTCHA (Google) signals to tell visitors from bots
Chansova never collects your card or Mobile Money details: you enter those directly on FedaPay.
3. Why We Use This Data
- Create and secure your account
- Generate your songs and Shorts from what you provide
- Show your public songs in Explore and on their share link
- Process your payments and promo codes, and manage your Notes balance
- Moderate content and handle reports
- Prevent fraud and abuse of the service (SMS and creation limits, bot protection)
- Reply to your contact messages
4. Who We Share This Data With
Chansova never sells your data. Some data is shared with providers we need to run the service, only for the specific purpose that concerns them:
- Google Cloud / Firebase: hosting of accounts, orders and files (audio, covers, videos), SMS sign-in
- Google reCAPTCHA: bot protection
- Vercel: website hosting
- The AI music generation provider (kie.ai, Suno service): receives the creation text, your style choices and, for a rework, your recording
- FedaPay: processes payments for your Notes purchases
5. What Is Public
A public song (the default setting, which you can turn off) is visible to everyone in Explore and through its link: title, style, occasion or type of creation, audio, cover, Short and counters. Your identity, your phone number and the text typed to create it are never published; the sung lyrics, however, may include what you told. A song made private disappears from Explore and its old link stops working.
6. Where Data Is Stored
The service's database and processing are hosted in Europe (Google Cloud); audio and video files are stored in the United States (Google Cloud), and the website is hosted by Vercel. These providers apply their own security and privacy safeguards.
7. Retention
Your account data, songs and their files are kept while your account is active. Deleting a song erases its files, including an uploaded recording. Deleting your account (from My account, or on request) erases your profile, songs and files; order and payment history is kept as long as needed for accounting obligations and dispute handling.
8. Cookies and Local Storage
Chansova uses no advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers to date. The site uses technical local storage in your browser: staying signed in, an anti-abuse device identifier, a creation in progress during a payment, and a referral code if any. reCAPTCHA (Google) may set its own items for bot protection. If this changes, this page will be updated.
9. Your Rights
You can ask to access, correct, or delete your data, or object to how it's used, by writing to contact@chansova.com from the email address or phone number linked to your account. We reply within 30 days at the latest.
10. Security
Exchanges with the site are encrypted (HTTPS). Access to account and order data is restricted by the database security rules; the public only reaches a stripped copy of public songs. Files are only reachable through a per-file token link, renewed when a song goes private again.
11. Minimum Age
Chansova is intended for adult users. If you're under 16, use the service with a parent or guardian's consent.
12. Changes
This policy may change over time; the update date at the top of the page is what counts. If you have any questions, write to us at contact@chansova.com.
